Taking a photo or recording a video clip
To use the camera within this menu, select the camera mode (
Standard photo
,
Portrait photo
,
Night mode
, or
Video
) and take a photo or record a video clip. For
more information and to use the camera in standby mode, see page
34
.
Select
Standard photo
to take a regular photo (in landscape orientation). Select
Portrait photo
to take a photo that can be attached to a name in the contacts list.
Select
Video
to record a video clip. Select
Night mode
to take a photo when the
lighting is dim and the camera needs a longer exposure time.
The photos and video clips are saved in shared memory, see page
19
. If there is not
enough memory to use the camera, delete some old photos or other files from the
Gallery
menu, see page
109
.
